Upon the resumption of office of the Executive
Chairman of Uhunmwode LGA, he was noticfied by
the leadership of Aruosa Primary school, Ehor that the pupils can’t use one of the school blocks due
to the licking of the roof. The Executive
Chairman and his team visited the school,
inspected the challenges and concluded they
will also ceil the entire building to make it
conducive and heat-free for the pupils. As
promised by the Executive Chairman, the Reroofing and Ceiling of the six classroom Block
is complete and pupils are studying
comfortably as our team visited.

ROAD REHABILITATION
- The Executive Chairman also undertook the
Grading, rehabilitation and maintenance of
some Community roads in the Ten wards of the
LGA. - The Expansion Maintenance of Old Ehor/
Ugiamwen Road. - Expansion and Maintenance of Ina-Erhua/Fatai
Camp Road. - The Expansion and maintenance of Oke/Irhue
road - The Chairman also undertook the Palliative
measures and rehabilitation of the potholes
along Ehor – Benin Federal Road.

GENERALADMINISTRATION
As the Chairman resumed office, He undertook some
repairs and installation in the council secretariat such
as:
AGRICULTURE
The Executive Chairman also took a bold step in the
area of Agriculture by repairing the Council Tractor
to support the Community Farmers Association to
enable the farmers increase their farm yields.
SOCIALRESPONSIBILITYSCHEME
The Executive Chairman has been involved in
Social Responsibilities in the LGAsuch as:
- Training and sensitization on the awareness
of social ills in the society and preventive
measures. - Handling of family case work, clearing the
communities of lunatics in conjunction with the
state ministry of gender. - Tracing of misplaced persons and reuniting
them to their families. - Rescue of the Babies of lunatics and taken to the
ministry of Social development and Gender
issues for further care
